The FreshStore v3.1 update is here with some exciting new features, handy improvements, and important fixes. This update is all about helping your affiliate stores run smoother, load faster, and give you more tools to grow.

New features in FreshStore v3.1

AI Treasure Map for SEO (llms.txt)

AI search engines like ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews are changing how people discover products online. The AI Treasure Map gives these tools a structured file that helps them understand what your store sells, what categories you have, and what content is on your site. Think of it as a sitemap built specifically for AI crawlers. It is automatically generated and updated as your store changes, so there is nothing you need to configure.

New AI Image Model

We have upgraded the AI image generation engine to produce sharper, more relevant images for your stores. The new model is better at understanding product context, so the images it creates are more useful for your visitors. If you have been using AI images on your store, you will notice an immediate improvement in quality.

Firewall for Junk Traffic

Bots and low-quality traffic waste your server resources and can hurt your store performance. The new built-in firewall automatically detects and blocks junk traffic before it reaches your store. Fixes

  • Disabled Article Categories Hidden: Categories you disable will now stay hidden, just as expected.
  • Longer Amazon Tags Supported: You can add longer Amazon tracking tags without any issues. You can also use our free affiliate link checker to verify your tags are working correctly.
  • Frontend Popups Fixed: Notification popups on your storefront will display correctly again.
  • Category RSS Cache: Some RSS feeds for categories were showing the wrong products. This is now fixed.
  • Challenge Showing on Shared Links: Occasionally the Establishing a Connection page would show when sharing links on Facebook etc. This has now been resolved.
  • PNG Icon Upload: Some PNG files failed to upload properly. This is now fixed.

How to get the FreshStore v3.1 update

The update is already live. All stores are automatically updated, so there is nothing you need to do. Just log into your FreshStore dashboard and the new features are ready to use.
